The N7010A active termination adapter is a 30 GHz single-ended adapter featuring a user-adjustable common termination voltage (VTERM) and extremely low noise performance. The adapter was designed to address applications such as HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort and MIPI M-PHY Gear 3/4. The oscilloscope can internally control the termination voltage to keep it between -4.0V to +4.0V. Utilizing a low attenuation ratio setting (1.16:1), the adapter enables extremely lower noise floor. The N7010A replaces solutions using an expensive single-ended probe. This adapter is compatible with Infiniium 90000Q, Z-Series, and V-Series oscilloscopes installed with software version 5.30 or higher.
